An answer to a riddle...

Here's a song to get started

For the previous post, most may have guess to be a shadow.
Although most of the lines may point towards that, it is sadly the wrong answer...
What could it be then? Here's a little something to get you thinking.

A short poem by Arthur Hawkwing.

The Forever Friend

On my own, but mostly the savannah,
Where the tumbleweeds fade away and die,
Before the glassy sun burns a summer of crystals,
The glistering waters of the high seas
Of which was so far a place as of where vultures roam.
I looked around but you weren't anywhere...
You used to say that you would never die,
But I took the wrong meaning into my heart.
Now the sea is wild with despair,
Deep blue like a prairie of flowers blue,
Where all children of God rest in eternal peace.
I saw you at the end,
You and I, brother and sister of nature,
Brother and sister of heaven and earth,
Your usually calm and heavenly eyes full of tears,
Bitterly falling one after one into a river,
Then the river of life turned red in blood.
My eyes watched in horror.
Slowly and deadly your heart became poisoned,
You disappeared without saying good-bye,
Not a word came out of your mouth.
You became like desolation in its grave.
When once the skies were a realm of stars
And the sun shone brightly in summer skies,
You were there to share the calmness;
But now I stand here in midst of the tall grass
And only the savannah remains.

And as a parting shot, my time may be short, 11 years from this posting, mayhaps...
I'll never know till the deadline eh?

So, in this short time we all have...

Live life as you want it...

Fare you well.

P.S: To all those who didn't get this far... 'Gone... but not forgotten...'

Rest in peace...

Riddles

With all the turmoil going on in the world, I don't really know how things are gonna be...
I have a feeling we're gonna be screwed over when WWIII hits 'cause idiots in the Middle East with their new found 'It's-not-for-warfare' nuclear power will end up unleashing nukes all over the place... kinda like how a spoilt little brat tosses whatever he has at whatever he wants...

We should thank them in advance though, at least they'll wipe out their pathetic genes from the gene-pool...

A short riddle for all of you to ponder:

I am with you from first cry to last breath.

I am always one step behind and always one step ahead.
I am your worst fear and your welcome friend.

The last line holds the key...

suum cuique tribuere...

I seem to have plenty of time to ponder these days.
Ponder about life, paths, wonders... list goes on...

Watching / Reading the news, seems not many things arising is good...
Wars, Conflicts, Bombings, etc...
I'd get rich if I had become a Merc a few years ago... but that's another story...

S.H.I.T

Training was a failure, can't jump for shit, IVP coming up and only 3 training sessions left.
Spikes died again, may end up missing 1 training session.
Shit flying all around, I'm not some dude in the matrix...

Life, ain't it great?

Being in limbo sucks... big time...
Why does it suck?
Imagine bobbing up and down in the ocean 24/7... just that you don't get hungry...

The best part about it all is... I have things to do...
The problem is... no matter how many I fix, they just keep appearing... like a mob of hungry ducks appearing when you're only feeding one.

List of 'things' to do:

Project Work (yay...)
IVP Training (IVP in 2 weeks from this post date)
Fixing 'domestic' problems (*insert sweatdrop here*)
Fixing financial problems (*insert double sweatdrop here*)
Fixing Gaia (Doubt I'll be able to do much... You never know unless you try eh?)

Thinking of joining Balik Kampung... (those who don't know what means, it means back to basics or something along that line.)
They get to do farming stuff, which is kinda fun since I was brought up on a farm...
Main thing which intrigues me is that the folks involved in this are always happy...
Something our so-called 'society' is missing... Although I doubt we HAVE much of a society anyway.

The only thing I see happening around here is the usual bull-shit which can be found nearly everywhere in this world of 99.9% useless people...
I may be a hypocrite... but the chances are... I'm less of one then most... which is really sad...
In this world where only money and/or possessions matter, I long for the 'good ole days'.

I find it amusing how folks can say that they are 'saving' the earth by 'reducing' carbon emissions and such... but why didn't they do it so many years ago when they already KNEW about it?
The answer: Ignorance...
As they say, Ignorance is bliss... Even more so when 'pretending' that you didn't know your factory outputs can kill/damage the surroundings... just for higher profits of course, it's all about 'profits' anyway...

I'd like to see how their 'profits' will save them when the time comes.
Personally, I'd like to have some orbital ion cannon or some weird similar device which could obliterate anything I wish at the push of a button... I already have a hitlist of countries/companies to target...

Chances of that happening: Somewhere in the negative percentage...
But there may be a silver lining after all...
World's gonna be a goner soon... Lets see what stupid excuses they give then...

Visions of the Future *insert cheesy music here*

Got some 'enlightenment' today, dunno if it was from starting at the ceiling lights for too long or too much tea in my system. Anywho, here we go.

You know how everyone is jumping on the 'world's gonna end in 2012, shriek shriek, scream scream' thing? I'm jumping on it although firstly, the world ain't gonna blow up... my deadline is up to 2018, not 2012.

2/3 of the world's population will go 'pop' due to lack of food (whichever govenment came up with the 'let's convert foodstuff into fuel even though our people are starving, we'd get more money that way!). I wanna laugh at those asshats when the money they've saved up isn't even enough to last them a week 'cause by that time food prices would've gone into the troposphere.

Let's not forget those chemical / seed companies that tell farmers, that their 'genetically modified' seeds will only yield 1 crop and you'll have to keep buying fertilizer and more seeds from us. Outcome of this?
  1. Farmers gets screwed & can't survive.
  2. Kill themselves due to soaring debts or drop the profession.
  3. We all have less food produced.
Bird Flu mutation, you all saw that coming a mile away huh? Tell that to the wise asses, high up in their corporate companies.

Oh yes, how can we forget the hellstorm brewing in the Middle East? Conflicts between Israel and Iran... Outcome? Either we get a Nuclear tennis match or the so-called 'Nuclear energy for good' will be spread far and wide. As they say, spread the love... and nuclear radiation...

Thank you for tuning in. This is your quackpot host, signing off.

*Disclaimer* Whoever reads this the wrong way or what-not, deal with it... It's an analysis of things to come but some random dude, sane or not sane.

Woof

"Woof.
Woof?
Woof!
Woof..."

-Wise Words of a Random Mutt

Wow, the wisdom that you can get by speaking to various things.
Take a plant for example, I spoke to the plant outside my house this morning.
Conversation as follows:
Me: So, how do avoid the crap from higher ups and ass hats of people?
Pat the Plant: ...
Me: Whoa, smart move... then what'd you do when folks try to extort or mug you?
Pat the Plant: ...
Me: Damn, this guy's a pro.

So you see, you never know what kind of skills you may learn from the things around you.

On another note.... boredom seems to be a lifestyle for meself.
It's like watching a penguin tap-dancing on a chunk of ice that broke off some random ice sheet. It's fun but after a while it gets boring, then you'd hope/wish that some walrus with red boxing gloves rocks up and fights with the penguin. Penguin gets knocked off and disappears into the sea... only to appear 5 mins later with a nuclear sub bristling with a gatling gun! The walrus then gets perforated and falls into the sea. Then some polar bear comes up and K.O's the penguin and eats him.

How that sums up my day, I have no idea.

Went to my Fish-tank room and stared at the fishes for about 30 mins today. The fishes were cool, floating around and all.

So far, my FYP's been like this:
1st week : Build stuff
2nd week: Test the stuff I built... or try to but no staff to access the place...
3rd week: Try to test again but I need to wait for the vendor of some thing to come down...

All in all... I'm still Floating...

To sleep or not to sleep...

FYP, the event where all involved students are bored out of their minds, where their attempts to slack are foiled by passing DT's & Staff.

In my recent "patrol" around Block S, I happened to wander past a 'fish-tank' room where, lo and behold, some jackass was sleeping on a pillow...
I had the mind to go in there, smack him and steal his pillow but was thwarted by the aforementioned student's manager walking in and reprimanding the whole room.
Damn bad timing, it was a nice blue pillow too...

Tagged along with on of the security guards for their rounds, was kinda intresting walking around doing crap all... wonder how much they get paid...

...

Had this blog for a while... just never bothered to put anything up...
I'm lazy, so sue me...

Anyway, brief summary:
  1. FYP (Final year Project) is boring to hell, mostly strolling around campus and idling around.
  2. IVP (Institute Varsirty polytechnic) is coming up... and somehow they signed me up for 110 Hurdles... feck...
  3. No more exams... for poly anyway...
  4. Had my "Idiots follow each other off a cliff" theory proven today @ 07:32... Involved
an idiot and his pal try to force their way into the MRT at the same time I boarded. The verdict: They failed, fell on their asses and I had a nice laugh to start the morning.
  5. I'm blogging... End of the world must be coming... Maybe that Hadron Collider.
And so thus ends the adventurers of me... so back to the wild blue yonder!
Tally Ho! and whatnot...
